The Borough of Keansburg is governed by the Faulkner Act (OMCL) Council-Manager Act, NJSA: 40:69A-81 et. seq. the Borough Manager is the administrative officer of the municipality.

As the Administrative Officer, the Borough Manager prepares budgets and oversees the functions of the Borough on a day-to-day basis.
